LGEF

LGEF (Laboratoire de Génie Electrique et Ferroélectricité, LGEF, INSA, Université de Lyon) aims at developing electroactive smart materials and their applications. The lab experience covers materials aspects as well as applications of active materials, including energy harvesting and self-powered systems. LGEF developed an innovative energy harvesting technique (Synchronized Switch Harvesting) which is one of the most efficient techniques for optimizing energy conversion. In the framework of FIESTA, INSA is in charge of project management, electromechanical model (with ELyTMaX), electromechanical structure (with ELyTMaX and C2N) and nonlinear electrical interfaces (with C2N) and is an active partner for the characterization and experimental aspects (in conjunction with FEMTO and ELyTMaX).
